BCMA AMENDMENTS

SCHOOLBOY CLASS

Note new change in CMRC rule book to Schoolboy classification :

Schoolboy – 85cc – 153 cc 2-stroke/ 150cc –
250cc 4-stroke
Minimum wheel size 19” front / 16” rear
wheel.

JUNIOR MX2 B

.

Junior B MX2 classification is above a Beginner and Below a Junior MX2.

A rider may compete in Junior B MX2, if the rider has not accumulated series points in the previous race season, or any previous race series in Junior A MX2 division. Rider advancing from Beginner or mini classes are also eligible for Junior B. The Junior B is considered progressive and is not recognized in any championships. Once a rider has accumulated 12 points the rider advances to Junior A. The rider can at any point move to Junior A from B, however forward movement is permanent.

Riders with a top 5 finish in the 85cc class (7-11) and (12-16) must move into Junior A MX2

All riders earning required advancement points from Junior B to A will be notified by a BCMA representative.

Advancement points are assigned as follows

1 - 4pts

2 - 3pts

3 - 2 pts

4 - 1 pts

 

BORROWING A BIKE

In the BCMA region a Rider is permitted to borrow a bike should their bike be suffering from a mechanical failure.  The Rider is responsible to inform the Referee and the Course Clerk of the bike and number change. Points alloted and prizing assigned are unaffected.

BIKE PLATE NUMBERS

Beginning in June, BCMA will be docking/disqualifying riders who are not displaying their proper CMRC issued race numbers.  It is VERY important to check your license and display the proper number and background colours.  Printwerx will have numbers available for purchase at the PG race.  This rule will be enforced at the Amateur Day June 8 in Kamloops.  If you don't know your number and would like to know it, or verify that yours is correct, email Angela at   angela@bcmaracing.com
